NYLOR® reissues the iconic frame of the poet, academician, and statesman, Léopold Sédar Senghor.

First launched in 1968 by the company Essel (which later merged with the lens manufacturer Silor to form Essilor in 1972), the originally named “Arco” frame stands out for its pure design and avant-garde aesthetics, which have made it one of the staples of luxury eyewear.

This frame, directly rooted in Nylor’s DNA, has inspired renowned designers such as Alain Mikli and Philippe Starck, continuing the legacy of the so-called “browline” models.
